Nastran deck written out of Hypermesh 2022 version

When I write out a Nastran deck from a 2022 Hypermesh model in which all the components have their names defined for ease of recognition.

But when I read back that file back into the same 2022 Hypermesh version, all the component names are gone and replaced by PSHELL_** numbers without any recognizable names!!

In earlier versions, I did not see this thing but not having that option now is quite annoying! I may be missing something, or doing something wrong.

Please help me if someone has a tip or trick to deal with this issue; thanks very much.

When you import, do you have the option set to create components by HM comments?

I guess I found the problem. I would uncheck the Export Id’s, ID rules and Materials when writing out the deck!

With those options checked, the output file would have lot of stuff written out at the end. To avoid that, I would uncheck the above options. But then, while reading in that file, all the names associated with those ID would also be gone.

So, I will bear with the stuff written out at the end of the output deck in order to keep the same names when I read in that deck.

So thank you for your time and concern about my issue!!
