Python scripting in HyperMesh

I am new to HyperMesh and python scripting in general. I have just joined a team working on brake squeal analysis using HyperMesh, and as a part of it, I'm trying to set up a python script that can run variations of a brake squeal simulation to narrow down the causes for critical modes. I've come across the Python API page of the documentation, and "Batch Mode", but I am struggling to find more definite information that can be of use to a beginner like myself.  Any resources that can help me learn this would be greatly appreciated.

    What "Python API" page are you referencing? I believe, for Hypermesh, the python API is still in beta and will thus not have the full documentation released yet.

    Which version of Hypermesh/Hyperworks supports python scripting for the complete workflow automation?

    Each version of HM/HW includes more functionality in Python. I believe the latest version covers a large portion of uses cases but since it is still a work in progress you could find commands that are missing.
