Transformation in optistruct or nastran.

I have a model where a component has to be modelled being in different positions.  This part in the model has to rotate say 10degrees intervals. I want to create an include file so that I can enter the angle in that include file and run it again without making changes to the rest of the input deck.

I have done something like this in radioss and ls-dyna a long time ago using transformation card i believe.

How can i do this in optistruct or nastran?

I can create an element set of the part that needs to rotate and a node to rotate about in the Y-axis.  what card do i use?

i don't remember of any transformation option in OS.

But this could probably be possible by having a local coordinate system associated to the nodes of your changing components, and by making this LCS changing in angle for each include. Maybe even you could use OS parameters to change the LCS (not sure if this is actually available).
