Is there a preferred way to model a light bulb? Does a simplified filament with a high temperature have to be modelled in or applying a heat flux (wattage / bulb area) to the bulb exterior will do?

I would prefer applying volumetric heat source similar to 'Workshop8 Natural Convection'.
