Modal force as input

Hello,

question for you all: I want to provide generalized forces as input to my flex body. I saw the tutorial for the canard with pressure loads but this is not what I want.

Let's suppose I have a state space system which can model the aerodynamic system. It reads as input generalized coordinates for the body and gives as output the generalized aero forces. I want to apply them to RHS of my modal dynamic equations as prescribed input.

How can I do this?  I understand I need to use MFOSUB. However the very last line of the documentation says:

"Defining the modal force directly using the MFOSUB is not supported in the current version of MotionSolve."

MFOSUB (altair.com)

It sounds like we ALWAYS want to prescribe different load sets and superpose them?

Looking in ADAMS documentation it seems like any force can be readily applied. In this case the MFOSUB is called with the FORCE form of the MFORCE statement.
