Hey,

Maybe somebody can help me in order solve my issue. How do I connect Shell Elements with Shell Elements in order to model a fillet weld (green=weld). Is there any possibility to not select for every weld each node seperatly in order to create multiple RBE3?

Maybe somebody can help with that.

You can do it by connector.

There is a config of weld with RBE3+hexa+RBE3

ok, i tried it now using a connector. I used Quads (angeled).

The connector was also shown green (therefore I thought it is correctly realized).

Nevertheless during analysis the parts did not interact. I do not get my mistake. Do I have to connect the parts/meshes somehow after creating a connector? I thought that is the taks of a connector?

Connectors are geom entities. You must verify FE entities.

Doing an example/tutorial about connector is a good ideal
