can I simulate polyhedral in EDEM student version

Hi,

I am currently using EDEM 2021.1 student edition and need to do the simulation with polyhedral particles recently. However, when I finished building the model and was ready to click the simulate button, the software quit unexpectedly.

Thus, I cannot find the problems in the software. Does the student edition support the polyhedral simulation? Or I made some mistakes in the model I made.

    Hi,

    Can you try installer 2021.2 and then the hotfix 2021.2.1? There was a fix regarding the classroom version in this hotfix.

    Hi,

    I've used version 2021.2 before but it also had the unexpectedly quit issue. The software stopped when I clicked the 'simulator' button and the administrator told me to use version 2021.1. Thus, I'm not sure whether the issue has been solved now. Besides, the download page showed 'You have reached your trial limits'. How can I access the download link?
