Hypergraph "resolved in Analysis mode or Global Mode" question

Hi guys,

Very quick question but I wanted to just ask the community since I'm getting less-than-anticipated results for my sim (just making sure I'm doing this correctly).

I'm collecting heat flux through a plane in Hypergraph so that I can calculate thermal conductivity. I've been collecting data by utilizing the "query" option and then resolving the flux through the plane as "resolve in analysis mode" vice "resolve in global mode". Is this the correct option for heat flux measurement? Specifically what is the difference between Global and Analysis?

    Hello,

There can be 3 options for choosing the system while post processing your results.

    Resolved in:

Analysis System: Default systems selected as you defined in your FE Model. Your model might have a global and multiple local systems assigned at different areas of the model.

Global system: Resolve the results as in global system. For example: if you have a hole with local cylindrical coordinate system assigned to it. You can still switch and see the results in Global system.

User System: You can select any system and view your results accordingly.
