'Swollen' boundary layer

Hello everyone,

I am trying to do mesh study for flow over cylinder. The y+ range for BL was set at 41, Log Law region (30<y+<300).

So, I want to study the effect of cylinder's edge size towards the accuracy of drag and lift force. When I reduce the cylinder's edge mesh size (edge refinement), the BL look swollen (LOL) as shown in figure below.

Added a small box refinement to get the size smaller at that point.

Not sure why the edge/surface mesh is bigger at that location.

Tq for the fast solution. Out of topic, can the dev team add this as bug to be fixed in the next release?

Don't know when it will be fixed - but I have submitted the bug ticket.
