Use RBE3 to constraint Conm2

Hi,Guys!

In FE model, I use the 0d element "CONM2" to ensure that the center of mass and inertia of the model do not change and use the 1d element "RBE3"  to connect "CONM2" to the rest of the model. After it, I will use HyperMesh to output the mnf file, which is used for rigid-flexible coupled simulation. Does the connection of "rbe3" cause the "CONM2" to vibrate back and forth when the model is impacted?

Thanks for your answer!

    From the OptiStruct Reference Manual

RBE3 "defines the motion at a 'reference' grid point as the weighted average of the motions at a set of other grid points."

So if the independent nodes ('set of other grid points', labeled "I") of the RBE3 move with the rest of the model, the dependent node ('reference grid', labeled "D") moves with them.
