HyperWorks 2021 student edition OptiStruct can not start

Dear all,

I got Windows 10 and the Hyperworks Student Edition 2021. I can start the Hyperworks student edition and create everything up to a model which is ready for the analysis with Optistruct. The problem is, when I try to start the analysis with Optistruct nothing is happening (at the down-left corner something running but it stops on 'Ready'). Please see the attached file for the detail.

I already tried to uninstall and install the program several times to different directories but nothing helps. I am trying to fix this problem for a week now and I'm starting to get desperate. I really hope someone can help me.

    I am able to run the model without error on 2021.2. My best guess would be you did not download the solvers package when you downloaded HW. However, if it is installed correctly and you are just having an error calling OS there is still a potential fix. Go to your start menu and open the compute console. image

    Then, you just need to select OS as your solver, and point it to the .fem file and it should run.
