Hello,

I have already create a model in AcuConsole and completed the mesh operation.

I have exported the .acs file with the MESH.DIR (from acuconsole) but this file does not seems can be imported to hyperwork.

I can load the .acs file but without the meshing.

Appreciate it if anyone can help.

We are still working out processes to import AcuConsole .acs files to HyperWorks CFD and/or SimLab.  As you've seen, right now you may get only geometry (maybe only mesh-based geometry, not actual CAD).  Importing the input file (.inp) also would be still in the works.  Depending on what you want to do, you could potentially manually edit the old .inp to change the simulation.  If you need to remesh, you may try the .acs route and remesh based on what imports - or just import the geometry again and start anew.

Hopefully better support for importing .acs files will be in later versions, but it takes time as the internal structure is quite different.

    Thank you for the reply.

I have tried to edit the .inp file and I get an error on acusolve if edit the material model (eg: density, specific heat, etc.), but no problem if edit it the fluid side only. so maybe it is embedded with .op2 file previously but I did not manage to find the coding part in the .inp file regarding .op2 file. appreciate your help.

    Context:
    1. I have created pipe structures in hm and produced op2 file. And .acs file for the fluid structure/flow
    2. Before this I used eigen mode manager feature to import op2 file into the acs. And produced the .inp file to run in the acusolve.
    3. Since acuconsole cant be use now and cannot import the other op2 files (different structure properties). Is it possible to edit directly from the inp file?

    Thank you

You would not be able to edit the .inp directly, as the results/information from the modal analysis needs to be mapped to the AcuSolve mesh, creating additional files, etc.

You should be able to accomplish this in SimLab, though you may need to recreate the AcuSolve model there (mesh, settings, etc.).
