Changing the fatigue material properties for seam weld fatifue analysis in Optistruct does not change the results? Technically changing the SN diagram of the diagram should affect the fatigue life of the seam weld

While defining the material property of the seam weld; I entered the following values. But by changing the B1_SM1 value and NC1_SM1 values did not have any affect in the results. This is not possible theoretically. Where am I going wrong in my simulation?

It is hard to tell only by looking at your material data. It would be needed to take a closer look into your model.

Are you sure that this material is actually assigned to your parts? And are you sure that there is actual damage that would be affected by the SN curve?

I suggest you to go through a very simple, well-known model, in order to verify your setup, first, and then, go to your full model.
