I want to design a lower control arm to optimise it, but I don't have exact dimensions, so I intend to copy the geometry from an image to ensure that the geometry I want to optimise is almost exactly the real one. fin below and example of the image a i want to use

    Hello Regina.

How are you doing? Happy monday!

What you're currently looking for is not actually supported in Inspire, however we have a specialized Inspire platform called Inspire Studio, which is a different software part of the Inspire solutions.

Inspire Studio software is a 3D conceptual design environment which empowers designers to swiftly create and evolve forms using powerful NURBS modeling tools, an advanced construction history and photo realistic visualization.

In Inspire Studio you will find a tool called Image plane, that it's exactly what you're looking for, here you can check how this tool works.

    I hope this helps!

    Best,

    R.

    Hello Ricardo!

Your reply has been really helpful, thank you very much. May I ask, how much do you control Inspire for topological optimization? Because I have posted a new question, and i would appreciate if you could take a look into it.

    Thanks you very much
