Self contact for BEAM element (Type3) in Radioss

Hi.

I am trying to model a spring (wire diameter 4.5mm) with multiple beam elements (Type 3) in radioss.

The coil-spring needs to be compressed and bent from each end. While trying to define self-contact between the spring coils with BEAM elements with Type11 contact for line-to-line contact, I am getting error stating 'LINE DE-ACTIVATED FROMINTERFACE' and it particularly for this interface. 

Please suggest what to use for Type11 interface for this purpose?

It looks like it should be ok as you have it. Are you sure everything is equivalenced correctly? If you can share the model I can take a look for you.
