Hi all,

i would like to look at applied torques on my model in hyperview. I know 7.5Nm should theoretically be applied to a specific node, but i want to verify it in hyperview. However, i'm only able to display external forces, but i need to see external moments/torques.  Anybody have an idea?

Cheers, Tim

    Hi @Tim S.

Getting forces and moments from nodes depends on what type of loading is applied if any is applied.

Are you applying a moment to the node using /CLOAD?

You might be able to get the force using /ANIM/VECT/FINT or /ANIM/VECT/FEXT.  I don't remember which one.

What should definitely work is creating a zero length spring /PROP/TYPE8 with high stiffness and output the  the spring force and moment using /TH/SPRING.

    Thanks,

    Andy
