Hi All,

I would like to insert holes locally in an existing mesh for supporting steel pins. Due to the effort in creating common nodes between the 2 parts as shown I do not want to remesh the part.

Perhaps there is a tool I can use to insert a hole locally? Perhaps Simlab has a function?

Thanks

    Hi IRA_EM,

I'm not aware of this feature in HyperMesh, but in SL this feature has been there for some time. In 2020.1 it is in the Geometry > Feature ribbon:
