Conversion from Optistruct to Abaqus

Hi everyone !

We have a FE model built on HyperMesh using Optistruct profile. We would like to convert the *fem file to *inp file (abaqus file). I used Optistruct to Abaqus conversion (available in HyperMesh) but the input data like steps, contact definitions are not supported (see the figure bellow) ...

Would you have an option besides redoing the model on Abaqus?

as far as I know the convert is the only option and it has its limitations for other solvers, as you've mentioned.

I've noticed you're using 2020. Maybe giving it a try in the 2021, just released. But honestly, i wouldn't expect too much improvement, anyway.
