strain energy and CNTSTB ratio
Hi
In non linear quastatic analysis with contacts , (no oter non linearities are present) i got the strain energy and CNTSTB valus as below in the picture.
can any one guide me , if these values are representing a good quality results?
Plese provide me more information regarding this ...any document or weblink ..?

Could you please refer some best practices for contact stabilization.

Thanks for sharing infirmation .Still I am not clear with what exactly the values under Contact Stab column represents .

The contact stablilization energy is the energy dissipated/absorbed by contact stabilization. The strain energy as well as contact stab energy are total energy variables from start to current iteration, so cumulative.Curves are useful to check accuracy of model with contact stab.

Thanks for the information,
up to what values CONTACT STAB values are allowed for a good converged solution. ?
In my case initially they are statting from zero to twenty five percent up to first 5 to 6 increments ..then after going down to and reaching zero (almost zero 0.00005%)by around the 40 % or 50 % of the load is reached and that zero continues till the solution ends .

Contact stabilization energy should not be more than 15% of internal energy. Please refer video shared in below post .
