H i All

 I am working on rotary converters now (with optistruct solver for structural )

Is there any one who worked on similar kind of components with optistruct.

If anyone there i need help.

    1.I am working on electrical machines where i have to do combined rotational and torsional analysis on the rotors .(the model includes contacts )

    2.ans also i have to do shock analysis .

     

    I have few doubts regarding boundary conditions for example how to apply torque and what boundary conditions to be given at the key slort.

    how to simulate bearings with fea elements ,what is the damping value to be taken ?..etc
