Why am I getting an error related to an inconsistent version of Hyperworks CFD and AcuSolve version?
I'm using Altair in the student version, and once I have the model prepared for simulation and click 'Run,' an alert appears stating that the versions of Hyperworks CFD and AcuSolve are inconsistent and that I may need a more advanced version of AcuSolve than 2022, even though the installed version is 2022.3.
If I try to initiate the simulation regardless, it fails within seconds, as shown in the images.

Hi Ruben
to avoid this make sure that you are running the same version of Hyperworks CFD as the actual solver (in this case Acusolve)
From Altair One / Market place you can download the version you need for Acusolve.
Hope this helps!

Hi Johan,
I don't have the option to look in downloads, because the downloads tab doesn't appear in my account, like you can see in the image. I don't know if this is related to having the student version.
Additionally, I downloaded both HyperWorks CFD and AcuSolve directly from the email sent by Altair when acquiring the student license, so those should be the corresponding student versions. What can I do then?

Can you attach an image showing the entire HyperWorks/Mesh CFD GUI - as well as the Launch AcuSolve panel made wide enough to show the entire path for the Acurun Path field?
I assume you hit 'Yes' to continue. Did you at least get a .Log file created? If yes, please attach that also.

Here you have a folder with all the images you requested. And the .Log file too. There is one picture that shows the only 4 Altair programs that I have downloaded.

It looks like your license(s) expired end of day 29 Nov 2023. The problem started just fine - until the point where it needed to check out the license. Seems you need to renew the license.

Exactly, the license I had expired on November 29, 2023, but when I asked Altair support, they told me to uninstall and install the student version. I did that, and initially, I received the email with the programs to install along with the student license. Is it possible that AcuSolve does not belong to that license? It seems strange to me because I downloaded everything from the same email.

Right - you need HyperWorks Bundle and CFD Solvers (for HyperWorks CFD and AcuSolve). Did you get a new license with a later expiration date? What is the full directory/path to that new license file? You can set the environment variable ALTAIR_LICENSE_PATH to point to that license file. (It seems the solver is still finding the old license)
