I'm assuming you are referring to exercise 2b from nonlinear training for OptiStruct (attached).
You will scale element force (1D) by 2e6 to convert the spring stiffness from the CELAS1 element in the model to act as a strain gauge within the model. Then, you will be able to compare it to the test results.
