Smooth Elements on the go while Meshing
Hi,
In the old gui, there was an option to smooth elements while in the meshing panel itself.
But in the newer version, it is not available. We have to exit the meshing tool and the elements have to reselected in the smooth tool to perform the smoothing operation. Additional clicks!!!
Will it in included in the meshing tool in future versions??

Hello @Subhu ,
in the previous version the meshing workflow was mostly:
- fix geometry issues
- prepare geometry (eg: washers)
- run auto-mesh
- fix local mesh issues, including the use of smooth, which require you to switch from one panel to another (so no really clickless)
Point is, this is not the workflow we recommend you anymore with version 2022 and above if you are dealing with 2D, 3D tetra and 3D thin solid mesh. Below is a video showing the new state of the art workflow:

The new paradigm is to use automated method first to generate a raw mesh. This raw mesh should be fine for 2D mesh as soon as you set up properly your param and criteria file:

With this workflow comes almost "for free" (meaning with no extra click) the creation and assignment of material and property.
For local areas that still need to be improved, then you can use the Edit Element tool in the 2D ribbon
Obviously you can still use old workflows in the new interface but you won't save as much time as with the new workflows.
Hope that helps,
Michael

Hi @Michael Herve,
With my limited experience with the new part browser workflow, I feel it is still immature. Without having good reliable seam weld connectors, it is absurd for me to use the new workflow.
And the representations don't store the contact groups information as like include files. So moving to the new workflow is not so easy.
