thermal analysis in radioss

Hello friends,

I have done a transient thermal analysis in optistruct for a homogenous material. As optistruct does not support transient thermal analysis for composite material, I am willing to apply this thermal analysis for MAT LAW 25 in Radioss.

Unfortunately, the convert option is not active from optistruct to radioss.

Would you please let me know what I need to do for thermal analysis of composite material such as MAT 25 or MAT 19 in radioss? are there any equivalent card image or interface type like those in optistruct?

Unfortunately, this is currently not possible in OptiStruct or Radioss. Composites are not supported in transient heat transfer. it is planned for the version of HW 2019.

Hi Pranav, Is Transient heat transfer analysis for composites now available in RADIOSS coming with HW 2019 student version?
