create a tcl script to extract displacement of nodes in optistruct

running non linear optistruct model with contact and need a script to run after completion of the analysis and automatically  extract nodes displacement.

    could you elaborate a little further what do you need? I mean what will you do with the node displacement values? Do you need a text file?

     

    I'm asking this because depending on what you actually need, you could use OPTI output format for Displacement in your analysis. OPTI is an ascii text file generated by the solver. I'd request only for the nodes of interest.
