Geometry Explode View & X-Section

Good morning,

I am working with Hypreworks 2019.1, and I wonder if there is a way to do X-sections before meshing as well as get an explode view of the geometry. Sometimes in complex geometries surfaces and solid are difficult to select, some contacts are difficult to understand also.

Remember: Hyperworks is NOT CAD software.

Could you show your geometry?

Use 'mask' panel to be able to view inside a part

Thank you. I used other FEM softwares and I can tell that having the ability to explode view and do cross sections before meshing is great!

In fact it depends to you work and to your working method. With more than 20 years of FEA I never need this feature /emoticons/default_smile.png' srcset='/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x' title=':)' width='20' />

Yes, it is unneccesary.

We can even select inside without masking/exploding/X-section.
