How to delete part of contact surface in hypermesh 2020.1?

Hi ,

I defined some contact surfaces in hypermesh2020.1. One of the contact surface was defined as shown below.

Then the contact surfaces are shown as below:

Now, I want to delete part of the contact surfaces. For example, delete the part marked by the red line as shown below. What should I do?

I remember that we can delete them directly as elements in hypermesh2019. But not anymore in hypermesh2020.

But how can I select the elements to be deleted?

you need to have your actual mesh shown in the screen. In your model, you show only the contact surface.
