HyperMesh - How do I create a keyboard shortcut to "Mesh" --> "Create" --> "2D Elements" --> "Element" using the "Preferences" --> "Keyboard Settings" interface?

    You mean "F6"?

Thanks! It would have been nice to see "F6" on the menu option; it only says "Element" not "Element (F6)"...

Is their a way to quickly view a list of all keyboard shortcuts?

I realize "Keyboard Settings" menu shows what options are mapped to which keys, but the menu is quite cumbersome to navigate, and the name of the commands linked to the keys don't always make sense.

For example, how am I supposed to know that the command "hm_pushpanel {edit element}" assigned to F6 was the "Element" tool I was looking for?

    No chance.

I attached my pdf file that summarized all the old Hypermesh KB shortcuts. Unfortunately, when Altair decided to "upgrade" the GUI to ribbon controlled, they not only got rid of the panels, but also got rid of the many of the functions that the panels controlled. As a "bonus", they got rid of many of the KB shortcuts.

Now some of the shortcuts work. Some don't.
