Code Check using S-Steel

Hello Support Team:

I am checking a steel frame using S-Steel, following the video posted on Youtube.

When I tried to select the Code Check button, I received a message telling me, "at least one member has to be selected".

Using the select window or the select all button, I apply select all: but nothing happens. The model is not selected, so I cannot go forward.

Am I missing any step in the process?

This is the first time I am using S-Frame version 2022.2 which includes S-Steel.

Thank you for your help.

Hello Julio, thank you for your question.

The first thing I would suggest is to make sure that you are in the "Code Input" window and that the selection tool is selected, then drag the mouse to select all of your members

After this, you can try to run the Code Check.

If you are still getting the message, I would suggest opening a technical support case so we can take a closer look at your file.

    Best regards,

another possible reason may be the steel sections modeled are different to the steel database in the preferences setting.
