What is the maximum impact velocity one can simulate using Radioss?

Hello, I wonder if there is a maximum velocity (or maybe kinetic energy) for impacts that Radioss can simulate

In theory, no maximum, but you must use physical description of material and properties appropriate to the velocity of the event. And use a timestep small enough to capture the motion of the model to avoid issues of artificial geometric distortion due to rotations and contact issues (kinematic contact timestep)

Hi Paul, thank you. Do you know any reference work regarding this?

I found the attached (split into 2 to allow upload) of work done for ESA at impact speeds up to 12km/s using SESAME tables
