I have seen a video tutorial of

Learn HyperMesh RADIOSS Interface 4 Contacts TYPE7&11

In that Type 7 contact we select all component surfaces as a Master and All component nodes as a Slave.

While i am running the analysis it shows penetration error

And what is the difference between TYPE 7 and TYPE 24 contact? Any specified?

Hi,

If we select all component surfaces as a Master and All component nodes as a Slave it is called self-contact.

Penetrations and intersections should be checked and removed using Tools>Penetration Check in Hypermesh or Quality>Check all solver contact interfaces in Hypercrash.

I followed the same procedure and run the it shows ERROR PENETRATION. HOw to avoid it?

Remove the Penetrations and intersections using Tools>Penetration Check in Hypermesh

its not possible to remove penetration and intersection because i consider same component as master and slave..i am working on block crushing analysis
