excitation by acceleration Freq resp(modal)

I'd like to add excitation by acceleration in Freq resp(modal).

I had below error. how should I do?

(I add DAREA in constraint)

I have another question, I want to add 35G (343 m/s/s).

But I use the unit (ton, mm, MPa) in the model.

So Should I input 343000 mm/s/s ?

Use SPCD card instead of DAREA.Whenever load is in the form of acceleration ,velocity and displacement ,we have to use SPCD card.

In chapter 14 ,example 14.2 and 14.3 we have applied load as acceleration.

Yes, Either you can check the same by opening the fem file in any text pad or review from constraint panel.

Hello Rahul,

Those tutorials are not supporting in 14.0 version and those belongs to 17.0 version so kindly send me the 14.0 version tutorial and if it possible send me to the below mail id mahantesh.mvj@gmail.com

14.0 is very old version and upgrading to new version would help you to use new features of OptiStruct.
