I want to add different load according to time, like 1~5s 10N,6~10s 20N.

How should I set up load colletor?

    Hi @naoki

You can use Transient response analysis.

Please refer to OS-T: 1310 Direct Transient Dynamic Analysis of a Bracket on OptiStruct help.

Thank you for your reply. I try it to adopt.

and also I define the contact surface, to know impact force.

Could you tell me good examples?

    @naoki

Since you have contact (Nonlinear) it is good to use nonlinear transient analysis.

    Here is a sample file

Can I input table date from excel file below step?

I want to input csv or excel data.

Step 3:  Create a TABLED1 (Table to define time dependent dynamic load)

also I got below error. what should I change  ?

Maximum number of time increment cutbacks reached,

    You can create a table using TABLED1. Goto Utility browser>>Table create>> TableD1

Can you share the .out file, please?

    Thank you so much.

I added NLADAPT with NCUT checked (value 10)

The error was disappear, but calculation time became too long.

    Is it right?

    Hi,

Looks like there is some problem with the model.

Is it possible to share the model file?

I don't know whether the model can be shared or not right now.

    which point should I check?

It is difficult to tell what to check.

    @naoki

Can u try increasing the DT value in NLPARM? What is load increament now? You may also try to reduce the applied load and check.

If you look into out file the EPI error is high.

Now I try to analyse impact force of lead valve of compressor.

Nachiket san Thank you. I'll check it.

and DT value in NLPARM is set 0.0 originally.

how much value should be set?  what does DT mean?

Prakash san, when does EPI error happen?

DT is the initial load increment.

EPI is the relative measure with the residual calculated. You can turn OFF convergence due to load in NLPARM>>CONV>> have UW instead of UPW. But, this may affect the accuracy of the results.

Thank you so much. I totally understand.

    I have another question.

I captured the movie file. But the annotation text color was changed into black (In Hyper view, they were white).

How should I capture remaining text color white?
