I'd like to analyze rubber like O-ring (NBR) with non-linear quasi static.
I try to define this as MATHE MONEY model.
Which parameter should be inputted ? NU, RHO, TEXP, C10, C01 ・・・
I want to know common parameter like NBR.
Hi,
What parameters do you have?
You need C01, C10, Nu, RHO, I and J invariants will be calculated by OptiStruct, Internally!
thank you,
I input for the moment,
NU 0.495, RHO 0.0001 from OS-E- 0185,
C01=80, C10=20, D1=0.001 from example from https://connect.altair.com/CP/kb-view.html?kb=166646
Does this parameter indicate rubber like NBR?
Where should I read to obtain these parameter?
Hi @naoki
If you need NBR like parameters, I would suggest you refer some past papers or contact suppliers. They can provide material data for NBR with different hardness.
Thank you I try to find the papers mentioning about the constant.
If you have setting parameter about any rubber material,
please let me know.
Sure, If I come across something which is shareable, I will definitely do that
