Pretension -Subcase

I will create analysis with pretension. However, when I connect the subcase to the other subcase, I get the pre-tensioning result in the first step. 
However, when the 2nd subcase starts, the analysis starts from beginning again. Program does not see the pretension step.

In order to chain subcases together so that one begins from the results of the previous step, you must specify the sequence order using the subcase or global card CNTNLSUB. These are nonlinear parameters which are covered with various examples in our OptiStruct for Implicit and Explicit Analysis training materials on learn.altair.com. You can also find more information in the Altair OptiStruct Online Help.

Hi ,

When working with models containing pretension and service loads, the first subcase should be analyzed with the pretension loads. For all the subsequent service load subcases must include STATSUB(PRETENS) and CNTNLSUB, which references the pretension load subcase to account for the effect of pretension during the service loads.
