LM-X: Determine maximum licenses used within e.g. the last year
Hi,
we are using our Altair licenses via networking licensing and running a LM-X license server. I would like to determine the maximum licenses used to review our needed count. When looking at the logs, I can determine the usage time etc. of the licenses, but would need to apply a lot of manual Excel work to determine the maximum licenses used concurrently. Is there an easier solution to this?
Regards
Thorolf

are you already using the log parser? (see licensing documentation attached) there is a tool 'parser.bat' in your licensing installation that converts all your .log files into a single csv that you can more easily process in Excel.
For more in depth assessment and insight into your license usage across all your CAE tools (not just Altair) there is also the Software Asset optimisation tool, but this is licensed separately (not part of standard suite installation)

Dear Paul,
the log parser looks like it will serve the purpose. Thanks a lot! I will have a deeper look into this.
