Altair Global Digital Twin Contest Task A My Blocks not found

This is a screenshot of the Task A training video where it shows to add ContourToXY they use My Blocks from the menu but while following these same steps in 2020.3 build 57 there is no My Blocks to be found in the menu I'm stuck in this step from past 3 days please help, will also attach a screenshot of Altair embed software that I'm using.

HI Shashi,

 

First, you will need to add the ContourToXY.dll into embed, this will prepare Embed for reading contours of images, extracting the contour coordinates, and saving it to a .csv file.

• Open Altair Embed > go to Edit > select Preferences, a window as shown below will appear > Go to Addons tab

 

• Scroll down and click on ... > Browse and select the ContourToXY.dll (ContourToXY.dll file is provided along with this document) > Click OK

• Close and Restart Embed

 this is described in the video in the training material section as well for task A

Sir, i followed the steps exactly as shown in the training video but there is no my blocks in my software please help. In the training video, there is my blocks at the beginning of the videos where contourtoxy.dll is added  but in my software there no my blocks in the menu as shown in the above image before or after the first step then after adding .dll ill close the software and rerun it still I cant find my blocks.

You should find it in openvision > operations

After run the tracing of the logo I can not see any of the XY plot in excel which is generated after that.

Are you running the altair logo example or are you running your own image?

can you please check with the video in the contest page and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cEk3YtJH9Nc&t=1s to ensure you have referred the add on as shown and have referred the image correctly?

If it is your own image, do you see the contour highlighted within embed after running?

Make sure the excel sheet is closed when running the embed file.

@Rahul Ponginan I am running my own image. When I hit on Run button contour is not highligted. But when I tried on Altair logo contour was highlighted. So what can I do now, Should I change my Image?

The diagram is designed for the Altair Logo, you should learn the image recognition process using Altair Embed and modify the diagram for your chosen image, the document provided along with the example embed diagram provides the details needed to learn and do so.
