Hello, I have seen that in some software, after performing an optimization on a volume, you receive suggestions for optimized models. Does Inspire offer a similar feature? Is Polynurbs the only option for this task?

    Hi Ramin,

Yes, Inspire offers a feature called "Generative Design" that provides suggestions for optimized models based on specified design goals and constraints. Generative Design in Inspire allows users to input various parameters, such as loads, constraints, and design objectives, and then automatically generates multiple design options that fulfill these criteria.

While PolyNURBS optimization is one method available in Inspire for shape optimization, it's not the only option for generating optimized designs. Inspire provides a range of optimization algorithms and methods, including topology optimization, PolyNURBS optimization, etc., each with its strengths and applications.

You can also make use of the Implicit model, Implicit modeling is indeed a feature available in Inspire. Implicit modeling allows us to create complex geometries by defining simple mathematical functions or equations that describe the shape. These equations are used to generate the geometry implicitly, meaning that the shape is defined by its mathematical representation rather than explicitly through individual surfaces or features.
