Hello,
I recently asked in a case whether it is possible to create a bistatic RCS in Feko and then use it in WinProp. The answer was that WinProp is unfortunately only designed for monostatic RCS.
I therefore asked myself what difference it makes for WinProp whether I use a monostatic RCS or a bistatic one (i.e. created in CADFEKO with Plane Wave Source from 360° direction and Far Field with 360°).
As far as I understand it, WinProp only uses the .ffe of the RCS as a lookup table to then calculate the resulting paths as with ray tracing. Is that correct?
Additionally: Does it make a difference for WinProp whether I import a CAD model directly into my WallMan file and use it to perform simulations in the project via ray tracing or whether I use the CAD model to create an RCS in CADFEKO and then simulate with it? Apart from the simulation time.
Thanks for your help!
Best regards!
