I want to know the stresses take place in a deforming tube by passing a die through the tube So I have meshed my deforming tube with hex20 elems and meshed my die with tetra 2nd order and then made it rigid using rbe2 elems then applied load on independent node of rigid die and constrained the deforming tube at its two ends but it cant converge so after that i have given a lgdisg card then also it cant converge

Is it possible to do this in optistruct 2019 so that atleast i can know the stresses and strain

What is the limitation in displacement in optistruct 2019

It seems your model has lots of large sliding contacts and very high strain in the material. Those factors make the problem very nonlinear. It takes a lot of experience to make the model that you described converge.

I would suggest you to try OptiStruct explicit or Radioss instead, which won't have any convergence issue. Otherwise, you may create a support ticket and some expert will look at your model and help you.
