Residual stress mapping

I have a concept that I will manufacture the crashbox by using stamping simulation (Hyperform)

and then I may get the residual stress results. For my crashbox, how can I map the residual stress into my model during preprocessing.

(How many ways that can be used ? )

If you have some tutorials about this kind of problem please share me and also I need your valuable suggestion.

Hi Nut,

You can map the results using the 'Results Mapper' option (Process>>Results Mapper) in HyperCrash. For mapping the results you have to create a state file (.sta) with the required outputs.

I'm attaching a tutorial on the same with the model file for practice. Also attaching a document on state file, follow the keywords in the engine file for writing the state (.sta) file. In results mapper option you can recall the .sta file and can map the results in the same component.
