How to perform stress linearization across a pressure vessel thickness

Hello,

 

Does anybody know how to perform stress linearization across a the thickness of a pressure vessel in Hyperview? I am a Hyperworks 12 user.

    Hi Farouk,

     

    I would like to perform stress linearization across the tickness of a pressurized vessel in order to gather membrane stresses. Stress linearization allows to determine membrane, bending and peak stresses across a determined node path.

    This could be acomplished under post-processing inside HyperView, as you can see in the attachment.
