Copper and Bronze-Brass workpiece material in Metal Extrusion Simulation

Hello everyone,

Does anyone has a prior experience in metal extrusion simulation with workpiece materials like copper or bronze-brass alloys, and if so is there any case study to share or overall feedback?

Hello @George Tsolakidis ,

Yes. We have many customers who have performed extrusion analyses with copper and bronze. We have a few materials for those in the database. Those may not resemble the material you are planning to use. So, it is best to get the material tested if you don't have material properties with you.
