Hi,

I am trying to connect other PCs to my PC for a distributed computing. I am using the CDE 2.3 of Flux, but I can't see the other PCs.

The number of distribution license token detected is: N/A.

Do I need a specific license to run the distributed computing?

Regards

    Hi Farid,

if I select "multiple nodes" and set my PC as server the configuration goes well.

The other PCs can't see the server by the way.

    Thank you Ciro!

So, you need to have server licence.

For the configuration of CDE, please have a look on the documentation available from Flux supervisor:

    Thank you very much Farid.

Yes, we have a server license. Must the CDE run on the server where the license is?

In a multiple nodes configuration, the server must be the same as the server license? Or I can setup any of the PCs connected to the server license to act as the server for the CDE?

I'm sorry, but this thing is a bit confusing.

    You are welcome Ciro!

The main important thing, is that flux should be installed in each node of this cluster, and each node must refer to the right licence server.

I hope this will help you.
