Analyse buckling after topology optimization

Hi,

I'm investigating product comparison between a solid product and one where I have run Topology Optimization in Optistruct.

I need to investigate buckling of the part.

I know how to run a Buckling Analysis for the solid part, but my question:

 

How do I run an Analysis of Buckling after I have run a Topology Optimization?

Hi Arjen,

You can use OSSmooth for reanalysis to remesh the optimized structure based on the optimization results at a particular ISO value.

See settings for the OSSmooth panel below.  It is in the Post area of the panels.

Then you can run buckling analysis on the remeshed design.
