How to calculate bending moment from ship model

Hi all,

How to calculate the time history of bending moment of ship structure.

I am performing the UNDEX simulation and interested to calculate the bending moment at the number of cross-sections along the length of the ship.

I have to define this at the pre-processing stage or it can be extracted in Hyperview.

 If anybody knows kindly share.

Hi Sachin,

I think you can use /SECT (https://help.altair.com/hwsolvers/rad/topics/solvers/rad/sect_starter_r.htm#sect_starter_r) to define some cross-sections. 

And you can retrieve moments thanks to /TH/SECT (https://help.altair.com/hwsolvers/rad/topics/solvers/rad/th_sectio_starter_r.htm#th_sectio_starter_r).
