Product compatibility check

Hi Team,

We wanted to check if World programming as called Altair SLC  ? Because World programming is listed in our product list.

We are using Version 4.2.4, We wanted to check if this version is compatible with z/OS 2.5 & z/OS 3.1, What is the EOS date for this version & Is this the latest version of this product ?

 

Please help us with these queries.

Hi Munmun,

Yes the World Programing company is now part of Altair Engineering, and the name of the product WPS is now Altair SLC.

Yes we support SLC running on z/OS 2.5 and 3.1.

End of service life dates for SLC are here:

As you can see, WPS 4.2 reaches end of service life this month, March 2024, so you should make your plans to upgrade as soon as convenient.
