hi i study about radioss 

this picture is an example provided by the Altair Company about radioss

and i wanna make a rigid wall like this picture

I followed the example, but there's a rigid wall like the picture above.

And no displacement, i can't solve this.. 

so can you help me?

    how have you configured the rigid wall?

    when you create the rigid wall, you have to add the structure nodes to the contact group of the rigid wall in order to activate the barrier effect.

    Hi, 

    I agree with agree with Adriano. It can also be due to the direction of the normal of your rigid wall which should be oriented towards the structure, especially when using option Dsearch.

    Hello,

    If there is no contact between Crush can and Rigid wall then why some of the elements of crush can are in deformed shape?

    It looks like you may have a search distance on the rwall that is picking up the nodes on the end of the can, but the elements behind are free to pass through, if you can share your 0000.rad and 0001.rad I can fix it for you and let you know where the issues are
