Hello everyone!
I am currently working on getting comfortable with all the features of Inspire for using it in a university class. Most things are really straightforward with good results, however I came to a point where I can't find relevant information in the Altair help:
I am currently recreating the Aircraft bracket challenge from GrabCAD: https://grabcad.com/challenges/airplane-bearing-bracket-challenge
The goal would be a lattice optimized bracket with a topology optimization applied beforehand to reduce the overall volume and mass. The optimization results in a shape, which is not really possible to use PolyNURBS on, so I'd like to skip this step and directly use the result of the topology optimization as a design space for the lattice optimization.
This is not possible within the same model since I can't select the result of the previous optimization as the design space. So far I've tried to export the result as STEP and STL. The STEP file does not include the optimization result and upon loading the STL in a nes Inspire file, I can't define it as the design space.
Is there something obvious that I may have overlooked? Or is there no possibility to achieve my desired workflow?
Thank you for your answers!
