Monitor Buffer issue

Dear Sir/Madam,

 

I have done the hardware implementation of scalar control of an induction motor using Texas Instruments High Voltage Kit. Now I am trying to fetch the current and voltages from ADC by using Monitor Buffer write and read blocks. The issue is when we connect the monitor buffer read to plot then the x axis will be converted into samples instead of time. So how can I convert it back to time. Even I have even checked the basic videos on monitor Buffer available in the Altair website, but that thing is not working in my file, so kindly hoping to get the issue resolved.

Hi Chinmaya,

The issue is not with the monitor buffer, but the plot. When you right click and choose "external trigger" it defaults the X-axis label to "Samples".

To change the X-axis label, right click the plot, choose "Labels" tab, then enter the label you desire under "X Label".

If you want to change the X-axis bounds, enable "Fixed Bounds" in the "Options" tab, and enter the desired X-axis bounds in the "Axis" tab.
